Welcome

In the beginning, there was the Alchera Project, a monthly offering of writing prompts ranging from fiction to essays, from poetry, to lists. It was run by Laurie Murray, and it was wonderful.

It died in December, 2006.

Almost a year later, I offer something similar. Once a month I’ll post a selection of prompts. Participants are invited to respond to one or more of them (in separate posts) within 30 days, and their posts on their own blogs will be linked here.

At the end of thirty days, new prompts will be posted, and the preceding collection will be closed.

Hmmm…everything on the menu looks so delicious, I can’t decide.
Let’s see, maybe I’ll try option three as an appetizer, option two for the main course, and for dessert, option one.
I love hanging out in cafe’s and this may be my new favorite :)

I am so glad that someone is doing something along the same lines. It was alot of fun in the Alchera Project.

I can’t wait to get started on the Cafe Writings.

Well I guess I am to be blames that Miss Meliss hangs out in Cafes, I started it all.
She and I have had lovely mother/daughter coffee dates since she was a pre-teen.

So I will find a topic and write and write, but my cafe has 2 for 1 frappuchinos, I cannot eb=evn think with the noise of the ice grinder!
Guess I’ll have to make do with the beachside terrace.
